The Difference between a lie, and ommitting the truth.

The difference is a really thin line.

What in the world am I talking about, and why should you bother reading about it. Fair questions both, I will do my best to answer them for you.

If you have been searching for a way to make money online, no doubt you have heard claims for mass fortunes in short periods of time. For example;

You may have heard about the marketer who made over a million dollars in 24 hours, only to be topped by someone who made 23 million in 24 hours. If you haven’t heard of the big ones, you may have heard or seen claims about marketers making $23,000 in a week, or $100,000 in a month.

What you did not hear and will not hear, is that the person who made $23,000 in one week spent $17,000 in advertising and marketing. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with making a $6000 profit in one week. However, the other thing you do not hear is that the one week was the time the cart was open for a launch. It took several months to create the product, another several weeks signing up affiliates and convincing them to promote the product. Now $6000 doesn’t seem so attractive, does it.?

The reason I bring this up and I hope you read it, is that too many people fall for the hype and buy because of the hype. Sadly, most products are hyped beyond truth.

The good news is that there are legitimate ways to make money online, in fact, the example I mentioned earlier are all real people making real money online, but they are not giving you the whole picture.

If you are looking for ways to make money online, please consider the whole picture, not just the hype. Start small and build on your success. Take into considerations all aspects of an online business, and most importantly, treat it like a business not a hobby.
